Vegan leather vs plant-based leather? What is the difference?
We want to make a clear distinction between just “vegan” leather and “plant-based” leather. Plant based leather, or plant-based leather is 100% vegan, plastic-free and PVC-free therefore it has a lower environmental impact. A lot of brands use “vegan” leather but it is often made of PVC / PU which contains plastic and toxic ingredients.
